New Communion

New Communion Mobile Market & Pantry is a faith-based organization with the goal of enhancing community relationships and diminishing the impacts of hunger and food insecurity.

New Communion is committed to providing nourishing food and being in relationship with those experiencing food insecurity and hunger in the communities we serve.

Upcoming Events:

Multiple community events happening in the the Place Matters Neighborhoods.November 18th, December 16th, December 21, and December 23rd.
1-Holiday Meal Box Distribution for Thanksgiving will occur on November 18th (9:00 a.m.) at LaDeara Crest, Wentz Memorial UCC, Grace Presbyterian and we will be distributing more than 200 boxes, serving 10-12 individuals each, to Place Matters Families.
          
Grateful to Ashley Jobe Middle of the Root for a whole bunch of turkeys benefiting families in need!
2-Holiday Meal Box Distributions will occur at Grace Presbyterian and Wentz Memorial on December 16th (time tba), and a neighborhood Holiday Meal at LaDeara Crest on December 21 at 6:00PM.
3-We are sponsoring 10-20 families for gifts and doing holiday family photos with Santa on Saturday, December 23rd at Hanes Memorial CME from 11-1. This event is by invitation only to local, identified families and will include a light lunch and a holiday store.

5-Buy a candle from our collaboration with Oh My Goodness Herbal Bar. Each candle’s sale feeds two families. The candle features our signature scent and prayer in English, Hebrew, and Arabic
